Interim President
Chris began his career in June 1992 and was assigned to the 17th Precinct in Manhattan South. During his time there, he performed duties including patrol and Crime & Conditions, working the midnight shift throughout his entire assignment until retiring in June 2017.
He was elected PBA Delegate in 2005 and served in that position until his retirement. He continues to maintain a strong relationship with the union, as well as positive relationships with other unions within the Department.
He has been, and continues to be, a member and supporter of numerous fraternal organizations, actively contributing to and supporting their members in many ways.
He joined Smoking Shields shortly after its inception and has been a strong supporter of the organization and all it represents. He served on the House Committee prior to having the distinction and honor of becoming President. He looks forward to bringing the organization to a level that exemplifies the law enforcement ideal of brotherhood by continuing Smoking Shields’ involvement in numerous charities, as well as working with neighboring and local law enforcement agencies, unions, and fellow fraternal organizations.
Chris was born and raised in the Bronx and still maintains ties to the community where he grew up. In 2005, he moved to Nassau County.
